The DARE Project - there were inspirational ambassadors talking about their experience and empower attendees to overcome anxiety, stress and live a much healthier life.
The ambassadors demonstrate techniques on overcoming anxiety and manage better your time which means also your life.
During the talk show which I enjoyed, I was also massaging back, head and shoulder on a seated chair massage for few minutes. All attendee were happy and satisfied by the health care we provide.
As massage therapist, we should try to find the key of the healing process... Sometimes, the pain is physical , we can see it and assess the issue as a professional practitioner. However, sometimes the pain is deeper, we cannot see it, the client might not even know it until he let it go...So as a therapist, I learn to listen which is not given to everyone. I feel like a Psychologist except I am probably cheaper and the patient lie down on a massage table , not on a couch!
Anyway, I am happy to treat a patient and try to understand them. I learnt few tips last night at the Dare project event. It will make me stronger and better in approach of stress management and anxiety.
-1st tips, Anxiety is not a decease, you can fight against it and it should make you stronger. Use it to reverse your life for a positive attitude.
-2nd tips, you should buy the book DARE Response by Barry McDonagh's. I don't think I suffer from any stress and anxiety but deep inside me , a little voice reminds me about past experiences which could be deal better if I knew few tools to manage issue of life.
