Four years ago, during the Sydney lockdown, I was in the process of relocating to my new clinic in Hillsdale, but I wasn't permitted to open it yet. I used this time to ensure everything was perfect for when I could finally open.
Two years ago, I completely dislocated my shoulder and was unable to work for nearly six months. However, I overcame this challe
nge and learned a great deal from the injury and the healing process, which has helped me become a better therapist.
It's that time of the year again, part of my biennial cycle where I'm determined to avoid injury. I'm heading up North to Cairns for a much-deserved family holiday. Taking a step back or having a holiday is crucial for self-care. We can't be constantly on the move, as it may lead to burnout. You cannot also love somebody if you cannot love yourself and be ready to care, selfcare.

I'm not apologetic about shutting down for 10 days; this is my annual holiday. I need time to spend with my family and to ride my bike in a warmer location than Sydney. I'll be enjoying the route from Cairns to Port Douglas, while steering clear of crocodiles along the way.
I'll see you on August 1st at Mat's clinic, by appointment only. Here, the magic of touch transforms into an art form. I'm dedicated to helping you feel rejuvenated, renewing your energy, love, and faith. My diverse skills and touch will transport you to different states of mind. I can adapt my techniques to your preferences for a more enjoyable experience.
Take care and see you soon.
Mathieu
